Emory & Henry College requires that all computers connected to the College network have Symantec Anti-Virus Corporate Edition be installed and regularly updated, including student computers.  If you do not have the college version of Symantec Anti-Virus installed on your computer, please contact the Helpdesk at 6881 or helpdesk@ehc.edu immediately.

You must also update your Symantec Anti-Virus on a daily basis.  Please follow these instructions to update your anti-virus software or download the latest definition here Updated Symantec Antivirus Definitions.

1. Start by double-clicking on the yellow shield icon on the taskbar in the lower right corner of your screen.

2. You will then see the Symantec AntiVirus dialog box. Click on the LiveUpdate button.

3. In the LiveUpdate dialog box select the Next button to begin the update process.

4. Finally, make sure that all updated items have a green check mark and you receive the message that the download was successful. Click on the Finish button to complete the process.
