Deleting Junk E-mail in Outlook XP using Rules Wizard

In order to remove or delete junk e-mail or inappropriate content from your email, it is necessary to create filters. If you would like to specify more restrictions to be used, you may also use the Rules Wizard. The Rules Wizard allows users to indicate which emails to be received by their inbox in Outlook.

  1. Click the Microsoft Exchange Outlook icon on your Windows Desktop.
  1. Apply the following rules:
  1. Choose to Start creating a rule from a template
  1. Scroll down and check suspected to be junk e-mail or from junk senders and containing adult content for your conditions, then click Next.
  1. Choose to move the message to a specific folder, delete it or permanently delete it.
  1. If you choose to move the suspected junk mail, you must specify the folder by clicking the Rule description box on the underlined value called specified folder to edit it.
  1. Add any exceptions (if necessary):
