This page contains answers to common questions handled by our support staff, along with some tips and tricks that we have found useful and presented here as questions.
In the address bar of your browser type http://ehcmail.ehc.edu/exchange and at the login prompt, enter your full EHC email address (username@ehc.edu) and your password. If you are using an earlier version of Windows (not XP or Vista), enter your username, password, and ehc as the domain.
The College offers the full corporate edition of Symantec anti-virus software for every student. Immediately upon arriving at campus you should arrange a time with the Help Desk to have the software installed. Additionally, once the software is installed, you should check for updates daily by clicking on the yellow shield icon on the task bar and selecting Live Updates. If you believe you may already have a virus go to http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/tools.list.html to download the removal tool for the virus.
The only color laser printer available for public use is located at the circulation desk of the Library. You will need to access your files from a computer in the Library via floppy disk or H: Drive. The cost is $0.50 per page.
Beginning in the fall of 2007, wireless Internet access will be available all over campus.
Each student, faculty, and staff member at E&H has a size limitation for file storage on the file server. This limit is 500MB for students and 800MB for faculty and staff. Once this limit is reached you, will be denied access to write any more information to your H: drive.
Each student is allowed 400 pages of black and white printing at the beginning of each semester. Any unused pages will carry over to the next semester. Once all pages in your print quota have been used, additional prints can be purchased at the Help Desk for five cents per page.
All EHC network account password change requests must be done in person at the IT HelpDesk. You will be required to show a valid photo ID at the time of the request.
